1. Contacts and communications
Communications with the administration of Lo Stivaletto take place via e-mail.
For questions relating to activities (scheduled meetings, trial meetings, changes, cancellations, etc.) write to us at membri@lostivaletto.it.
For questions regarding payments, refunds, or other financial matters, you can contact amministrazione@lostivaletto.it.
All registrations for activities (courses, camps, workshops, parties, events,…) take place online through the site https://lostivaletto.it.
2. Stivaletto Family Card: join the community
The Lo Stivaletto community is open to all those who appreciate the project, want to support it and be part of it!
By purchasing one Boot Family Card – from our website – you and each member of your family become part of our community and have access to the advantages and benefits offered by the Lo Stivaletto network.
You must have a valid Family Card to be able to enroll one or more children in a course or camp from 0 to 12 years old.
The Card also offers you and your family other advantages:
- discounted rates for parties, parent workshops and other events;
- access to content and partner promotions published in the Family Area.
The Stivaletto Family Card is valid for 12 months, from 1 June to 31 May of the following year.
Once the payment of the card has been completed, it is not possible to request a refund.
The card is the means through which you can support the Stivaletto project and allow us to carry it forward.
3. Courses and workshops for 0-12 years
3.1. Registrations
People in possession of the Stivaletto Family Card can register for all courses and workshops for 0-12 year olds, as well as any other activity and event organized by Lo Stivaletto.
Registrations are made exclusively online via the website: https://lostivaletto.it.
Your enrollment is completed once payment of the entire course fee has been successful. Confirmation will come to you via email.
The annual courses and workshops for 0-12 year olds are published every year on our website at the beginning of June and take place approximately from September to June-July of the following year.
Registration for courses therefore always remains open from 1 June to 31 May of the following year and you can always register for courses even if they have already started, based on the places still available.
3.2 Fees: quarterly update of the fee for annual courses
During the year the registration fee for each course is updated as follows:
- Registrations between June 1st and November 30th: those who register by December purchase the course at full price;
- Registrations between 1 December and 15 March: the annual cost of the course is discounted by 25%;
- Registrations between March 16th and May 31st: the annual cost is discounted by 60%.
NB: the actual start date varies from course to course and must be checked on the descriptive page of the relevant course.
Payment for the course takes place in a uniform manner at the time of registration, no installment or periodic payments are foreseen.
3.4 Test meeting
If you are not sure whether an activity is right for you, your child or for you, you can purchase a trial meeting from our website. At the end of the trial lesson, you will evaluate with the teacher whether to continue and proceed with registration.
To set the test date you must contact our administration in advance by writing to: membri@lostivaletto.it.
NB: It is not possible to try a course by spontaneously showing up at a meeting.
To continue the course and confirm your registration, write to us at membri@lostivaletto.it.
If you decide to enroll, you will receive a €10 discount, which you can apply to the course you are enrolling in or to any other Stivaletto activity or event for the current school year (by May 31st).
For each course you sign up for you can receive a maximum of 1 discount of €10, even if you have had multiple trial meetings.
3.5 School holidays
Course meetings are not organized during the ministerial school holidays defined for the Noord-Holland region. However, each school can independently insert extra holiday days into the school calendar which Lo Stivaletto does not guarantee adaptation to.
3.6 Cancellation of meetings
The meetings canceled by Lo Stivaletto for various reasons (teacher illness, unavailability of the structures, covid measures, etc.…) will be reprogrammed in the same way.
If in agreement with the majority of the members, the teacher can decide to make up the meeting online.
If it is not possible to schedule recovery, the meeting will be automatically refunded.
3.7 Course cancellation
If a course does not reach the minimum number of participants (indicated in the description of each course) it can be canceled and Lo Stivaletto guarantees a refund of the fee paid.
Our administration will contact each enrollee who will be able to choose whether to transfer their enrollment to another course or receive a full refund.
3.8 Illness and inability to participate
It is not possible to request a refund for meetings which have already taken place or which cannot be attended due to illness or other personal reasons.
3.9 Transfer to another course
Any request to transfer from one course to another must be discussed in advance with the teacher (of the course in which you are already enrolled) and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
3.10 Cancellation of membership and refunds
If you want to cancel your registration for a course or workshop for children, you can send us a cancellation request within the times described below by writing an email to: membri@lostivaletto.it.
The amount of the refunded amount depends on the moment in which the request is forwarded and follows the same periodicity as the registration fees (see also paragraph: “3.2 Fees: quarterly update of the fee for annual courses"), i.e.:
- 100% refund: if you send a cancellation email within 14 days of the date of the first course meeting;
- 75% refund: if you send a cancellation email less than 14 days after the first meeting or by November 30th;
- 40% refund: if you send cancellation email by March 15th.
NB: the start date varies from course to course and must be checked on the descriptive page of the relevant course.
Cancellation requests received from March 16th do not provide refunds.
4. Camp Holidays
4.1 Registrations
You can register for one or more single days of each camp via the options available on each camp's description page on the website: https://lostivaletto.it.
Registrations take place exclusively online.
Subject to availability of places, it is possible:
- add camp days;
- also register once the camp has started;
- change the days chosen (in prior agreement with our administration).
4.2 Camp confirmation terms
The camp is confirmed when the minimum number of registrations is reached, as reported on the descriptive page of each camp.
If the minimum number is not reached within 10 days of the start date, the camp will be cancelled. In that case, the fee you have already paid will be automatically refunded and, if you need it, we will help you find an alternative solution together with our educator.
4.3 Test meeting
It is not possible to request a trial meeting for holiday camps.
4.4 Illness
If your children are ill and cannot attend the camp day, please try to notify us as soon as possible. Based on the availability of places, we will try to make up for the missed day.
However, it is not possible to request a refund for the missed day.
4.5 Cancellation of membership and refunds
If you want to cancel your registration for a holiday camp, you can send us a cancellation request within the times described below by writing to: membri@lostivaletto.it.
If the request to cancel your registration is submitted within 11 days of the first day of camp, you will be refunded 100% of the fee paid.
If the cancellation request is submitted 10 or less days before the start of the camp or after the camp has started, the fee will not be refunded.
5. Parties, events, parent workshops
5.1 How to participate
The majority of Stivaletto parties and workshops are open to both people with and without a Family Card. If the event is reserved only for members, the information is explicitly reported on the event presentation page.
The best way to participate in an event is always to purchase the ticket online through the dedicated page on the site https://lostivaletto.it, as the sale of tickets at the entrance to the event is not guaranteed.
If tickets for an event on the site are sold out, you have the option to sign up to the 'Waiting List'’ through the form you find on the page dedicated to the event.
If tickets become available, we will contact you directly starting 5 days before the event.
Even in the case of a free event, prior registration via the website of each participant, adult and/or child, is required. This allows us to adequately organize the spaces, materials or any snacks and guarantee you the best experience.
5.2 Inability to participate
If you have purchased one or more tickets for a party/event and are no longer able to attend, you can notify us up to 5 days in advance by writing to: membri@lostivaletto.it. We will make your ticket available and we will be happy to offer you a voucher equal to 50% of the amount paid which you can use on our website for other Stivaletto activities (events, courses and camps).
It is not possible to request a refund of the amount paid.
5.3 Event cancellation
If the event is canceled by Lo Stivaletto due to force majeure, the entire amount paid will be automatically refunded.
