Description
All Books – Literary meetings for children is a series of free events organized by Stivaletto in collaboration with Alfabeto Libri, the Italian bookshop in Amsterdam. Readings, presentations and activities to discover new books, meet those who created them and talk together about stories, creativity, inclusion and diversity.
Registration can be done separately for each meeting. They take place entirely in Italian and take place at the headquarters of Alphabet Books, in the Jordaan neighborhood.

Saturday 3 October 2026, 4pm – Dory Fantasmagorica's birthday
Reference age: 6-10 years
Readings and activities to discover and rediscover the books and adventures of the fabulous Phantasmagoric Dory, the character created by Abby Hanlon. A special event involving Italian bookstores for children in Italy and around the world.
Saturday 7 November 2026 – Escape from Paradise
Reference age: 13+ years
Presentation of the novel Escape from Paradise together with the author Sara De Martino. In Genoa in the 1950s, two little girls live an intense and suspenseful adventure, while their friendship transforms into something stronger and more complex. An exciting novel, which recounts the contrasting emotions of the young protagonists with intense realism.
January 2027 – Weirdos – Extraordinary Little Stories
Date to be defined – Reference age: 6-12 years
Presentation of the Strambini – Piccole Storie Straordinarie series together with the author Fernanda Cocco. Illustrated books that address topics such as inclusion, neurodivergence, autism, ADHD and rare diseases with lightness and irony.
A series of meetings to read, listen, meet and discover new stories together.
