Our holiday camp is dedicated to Bambinɜ for 4 to 10+ years who want to make new friends, exercise Italian and live a week of unforgettable experiences.
What is done during the field
The discovery, experience and use of the Italian language are the common thread of each day that includes many different activities, including:
- Linguistic stimulation activities: challenges, games and readings directed to the practice of the Italian language, the development of the vocabulary and the deepening of Italian culture.
- Creative workshops: manual activities such as painting, construction of small objects and recycling workshops.
- Exploration of nature and outdoor games: based on the climate, guided walks in the park, treasure hunt, ball games, water and much more.
- Sport and movement: shooting at the rope, running with bags, mini-olimesplaces and various sports activities.
- Theater and music: small theatrical performances, role -playing and singing.
The program of each day is inspired by a theme and appropriate to the headquarters where the Camp takes place. During the months of July and August in fact, the setting is that of Vondelpark, where all the days take place in contact with nature. During the months of October and February, or in case of bad weather, the field takes place indoors – at the bourtecentro The tayery – And the program from greater space to creative workshops, scientific experiments, cuisine and art.
An ideal context to speak Italian
Each activity takes place in A welcoming and serene environment, where every child plays, laughs, he gets involved while he has the opportunity to speak Italian without pressure. The Stivaletto Camp thus also becomes a very stimulating opportunity to practice and strengthen the link with the Italian language. Children are in fact encouraged to interact with others always in Italian, therefore a feel at ease even if the knowledge of the language is partial. The learning of new words, concepts and ways of saying takes place thus in a spontaneous and fun way, through the relationship with the educators and with the others' participants.
This stimulating and safe context promotes the growth of self -esteem and trust in one's abilities, and the use of Italian is associated with pleasant and engaging moments.
Participation in the field is therefore a fun and engaging experience, ideal for:
- Who knows the Italian only in part, because it has the opportunity to improve in a context that lǝ puts at ease;
- Those who are Italian native speakers and have moved to the small countries recently, because it can take a strong advantage of a family linguistic context;
- who speaks well The Italian but, living in the Netherlands, has less opportunity to develop its vocabulary and stimulate linguistic fluidity.
