Sunday 7 December 2025 will remain in the hearts of many families because the Stivaletto Christmas Party was truly... special. People of all ages, lots of laughter, sweet Italian scents, activities for children, bingo, snacks and a great desire to be together: in the end this is the spirit we want to celebrate every time.
As always, the magic of this day is thanks to many people: volunteers, families, friends and - this time more than ever - the reality of the territory that h
year decided to join us to offer a moment of authentic and "made in Italy" conviviality, here in Amsterdam.
✨ An afternoon to experience in one breath
The party began with a sweet and collected atmosphere, thanks to the reading aloud of Vera, who gave that mixture of wonder and warmth that only books can give. Then the room came alive with color and activity. Al kids swap market mountains of games passed from hand to hand with joy, thanks to the commitment of Cecilia, Martijn and Maria Vittoria. At the table creativity, under the guidance of Gioia, Sofia and Michela, the children created a real Christmas workshop made of artistic greeting cards and precious decorations to attach to the tree. Meanwhile at the table boardgames together with Daniele there was an atmosphere full of energy, between dice, pawns and exciting challenges.
Then, suddenly, the atmosphere lit up: the arrival of the hot pizzas, steaming and scented with Granelli, sparked a contagious enthusiasm. They disappeared in an instant!
From the bar a warm, enveloping, familiar mix of aromas spread throughout the afternoon: the scent of burnt wine and some hot chocolate. The commitment of Samuele, Michele, Gigi and Paolo enriched the Christmas atmosphere and transformed the Stichting Welzijn Doven Amsterdam headquarters into a true corner of Italy.
And when the time finally came Christmas bingo coordinated by Michela, the party transformed into one big family. Hands raised, laughter, numbers shouted with enthusiasm, children checking their folders faster than their parents, prizes contested and then shared: a moment of collective, simple and genuine joy.
It was one of those afternoons where you have the distinct feeling of making memories.

Among the many traveling companions who made all this possible, we dedicate a special thank you to the team of Vico Food Box, who with their support always give an extra boost to our parties. Thank you for bringing your Christmas goodies, for the super tombola prize and above all for your availability and enthusiasm with which you offer us your collaboration.
And then thanks to all the friendly organizations who embellished the Christmas celebration with their products, their prizes and their involvement: the restaurants Granules, the Dumplings, Nico's Trattoria, Alphabet Books, the laboratory Sweets and the network of home cooks and chefs Cesarine.
We share with you the smiles, curiosity and joy of the 160 people who celebrated with us on Sunday 7 December.

As always, the success of an event is the result of the commitment of many heads and hands, of those who have followed the organization from the beginning and those who helped during the party. In addition to those we have already mentioned, it is essential to remember Federica, Giulia, Jenni, Michela, Pamela, Sara, Anna, Cristina and Raffaele. Among them there were those who also managed the buffet, those who cleaned, those who took photos and those who kept the reins of everything (or almost). Thanks to you it was possible to set up the party in an hour, have fun all afternoon, eat and drink together happily. Without you, nothing would have been the same 💖
The 2025 Christmas Party confirms to us — once again — that our community is made up of families, friendships, culture and a great desire to do things together: in Italian, from the heart of Amsterdam.

Christmas gave us an afternoon full of joy, flavors and smiles. A heartfelt thank you to those who were there, to those who contributed and a goodbye to those who want to join us next time. Yes, because with Lo Stivaletto we never stop: the Carnival Festival is already scheduled for Sunday 15 February 2026!
