We are very happy to announce that Lo Stivaletto has become a partner of the ICoN inter-university consortium (www.italicon.education) which has been working for the company since 2001 promotion of the Italian language and culture in the world through the Internet.

In particular, Lo Stivaletto is the new affiliated teaching center in the Netherlands where students can officially take the semester exams of the Online degree course in Italian language and culture for residents abroad (I level three-year Italian course): at our headquarters in Amsterdam West, in fact, the Stivaletto collaborators coordinate the carrying out of the exams and support the student in their official capacity as ICoN delegates.

This is another beautiful collaboration with which we are committed to promoting the diffusion and development of Italian culture in the Netherlands, happy to support the training of those who reside abroad, just like us.

Who is ICoN

Made up of 14 Italian universities, ICoN represents a happy example of synergy within the Italian university system. Important Italian universities have joined together with the aim of doing research and experimentation in the field of e-learning to create excellent educational paths that promote the Italian language and culture around the world.

The Italian universities that join the Consortium are Bologna, Catania, Genoa, Milano Statale, Napoli l'Orientale, Padua, Parma, Pisa, Roma Tor Vergata, Roma Tre, Salerno, Turin and the two Universities for Foreigners of Siena and Perugia.

Since 1999 ICoN has carried out numerous educational initiatives with constant attention to new methodologies of online teaching and research in the technological field:

  • Online degree course in Italian language and culture for residents abroad;
  • online Italian language courses;
  • First level university master's degrees (English specialist translation>Italian, Teaching of Italian Language and Literature);
  • online training courses for Italian teachers.

This is an initiative of e-learning now fully consolidated, provided on behalf of the Universities that constitute ICoN, and divided into four areas: didactic-linguistic, literary, arts-music-entertainment, historical-cultural.
