How the courses are organised
Our courses for children aged 0-12 are divided into:
- Language courses: for cognitive development and the refinement of communication and linguistic skills in Italian.
- Artistic courses: for the knowledge and experimentation of music and the arts.
- Workshop: for the development and practice of new skills and the discovery of new passions.
- Holiday Camp: for a full immersion in Italian and fun during the (Dutch) school holidays.
It takes place in Italian, from September 2024 to May/June 2025, at our Amsterdam offices West, South and East.
They are dedicated to those who hold the 2024-25 Stivaletto Family Card, which is the way to support our Stichting and which offers many advantages.
Furthermore, thanks to our agreement with the JSCA Fund, if you have the Stadspas of the Municipality of Amsterdam you can get discounts on activities from 2 to 12 years.
Language courses | 1-12 years
- Mini 1-2: to stimulate cognitive, emotional and linguistic development in early childhood.
- Midi 2-4: to encourage interaction, autonomy and language skills.
- Junior 4-6: to stimulate communication skills, enrich vocabulary and lay the foundations of grammar in preschool age.
- Pupils 7-9 and Pupils 10-12 (online soon!): to encourage the learning of grammar and syntax through reading, writing and oral narration.
- Creative Writing Online 8+: to deepen the ability to express written expression in Italian, in a creative and stimulating way.
Artistic courses | 0-7 years
- Music Game 0-23 months: to stimulate growth through sound and musical stimuli.
- GameMusic 2-4: a playful approach to music and singing to offer the foundations of musical education.
- GameMusic 4-7: to delve deeper into fundamental musical concepts and prepare for the possible study of an instrument.
Cooking Workshop | 2-10+ years
In the Kitchen 2-4 e 5-10+: to get closer to the fundamentals of a balanced diet, discover and experiment with new flavors and have fun in the kitchen.
Camp Holidays | 4-10+ years
- Camp Estivaletto: from 22nd to 26th July;
- Camp Fine Estate: from 26 to 30 August;
- Camp Autumn Holiday: from 28 October to 1 November;
- Camp Spring Break: from 17 to 21 February 2025;
- Camp May holiday: from 28 April to 2 May 2025.
Events for all ages
During the year we also like to organize events in Italian, where you can have fun, build relationships, acquire information and skills.
- Parties for the whole family, starting with Summer party that awaits you Sunday 23 June dalle 15 a Vondelpark!
- Readings aloud, that our team of volunteers organizes with passion, in collaboration with Nati per Leggere – The Netherlands;
- Initiatives for adults, dedicated to training and socialization, like the next one Pediatric First Aid Workshop, scheduled for November.
