Summer is approaching and... il Camp Estivaletto it is the event not to be missed if you are between 4 and 12 years old, you like speaking Italian and want to have a lot of fun for the whole first week of your holidays – from 22 to 26 July. Come and discover all the colors of the Camp!
The theme of the Camp
This year at the Camp we are dealing with colors. We use them to colour, invent, cook and create together. They are also the starting point to explore our emotions, our experiences and our desires.
This is why we have planned many activities and games inspired by a different color every day.
If red is your color, you can't miss the volcano experiment. If you love greenery, we have a (super delicious!) vegetable smoothie waiting for you. If you're all for blue, cranberry juice paint is for you.
If you like all colors, then you are ready for the twister tournament and the treasure hunt dedicated to the colors of nature.
The 2024 Summer Camp in brief
When and where:
From Monday 22nd to Friday 26th July, from 9am to 5pm in Vondelpark. The 'base camp' is at the play area with the swimming pool.
In case of rain:
If the forecast calls for rain, we will meet directly at the gym of the Buurtcentrum De Tagerijn, in Balboastraat 18 (Amsterdam West).
Reference age:
The camp is aimed at ages 4 to 9, with activities calibrated based on age. But for those who are 10 years old or older, it is an opportunity to take on new responsibilities as an assistant animator.
Educator:
At the helm of this edition is Roberta, a super enthusiast for music, games to play together, reading and everything you get your hands dirty with. She is qualified as a nursery teacher in England and has worked extensively with children, both in English and Italian. Creativity is part of its DNA.
