Saturday 21 May the appointment with our w is backPediatric First Aid orkshop entirely in Italian: the meeting will take place dalle 10 all 12 presso la House of the District De Pijp, our headquarters in Amsterdam ZUID.
The objective of this workshop is to offer correct information on how manage small and large emergency situations involving the health of a child and how to use Pediatric First Aid Techniques – Pediatric Basic Life Support. In fact, it will be an opportunity to learn the basic techniques of clearing the airways and cardiac massage that can be performed on newborns and children.
The workshop is also an opportunity to:
- learn what is best to do in case of injuries, allergic reactions, dehydration and mild ailments;
- share i telephone numbers to call according to needs;
- know the most useful first aid tools to always have at home.
The meeting will be led by Laura Vaccaroni who, in Italy, was an Anpas volunteer for 5 years and a rescuer certified in the use of the AED (the semi-automatic external defibrillator) and who, also here in the Netherlands, is certified as a BHV-er (Bedrijfshulpverlening), a path that prepares you professionally for the management of emergencies and first aid.
