Here at the Stivaletto we are really happy to give new energy to a project very dear to us: Amicɜ di Penna.
The boys and girls who follow the Junior and Teen courses are in fact starting an exchange of letters – just the ones written by hand! – with a 4th grade of a primary school part of the comprehensive school of Regoledo in the province of Sondrio (Italy).
Thanks to the collaboration of the teachers Sofia, Ida and Ivana of the Institute and the help of our Giovanna Vivian, who leads the Junior and Teen meetings, each participant has the opportunity to write a message in their own hand or share a drawing and enter direct contact with many possible new friendships across the border.
Do you like Penna's Amicɜ project?
If you know a 7-10 year old girl who wants to cultivate new friendships in Italian through writing, contact us!
It will be a pleasure to connect you with the teachers of the school and their class. The exchange can then continue by hand or by e-mail.
Meanwhile, we thank all the wonderful educators involved, in Italy and in the Netherlands, and we hope to continue developing this and other initiatives capable of overcoming distances and borders.
