So much joy and energy we tasted here in Amsterdam on Sunday 8 December during a Christmas Party 2024 really special!
Above all thanks to you and to the over 160 people of all ages who participated, in the name of the desire to be together, the love for Italy and the joy ❤️
And this also applies to the close-knit group of volunteers, Stivaletto volunteers, friends near and far who, with their enthusiasm, made this party a real success. Thanks to all of you for the warmth of the party: it immersed us fully in the rhythm, flavors, and emotions typical of Italian Christmas.
To let us be influenced by that warmth again, in this article we have therefore decided to retrace the most characteristic moments and name the many people who made it possible.
A Journey through Italian Notes
It was certainly a protagonist of the party live music by Musica Ribelle who made us listen to some of the most iconic Italian singer-songwriters, from Edoardo Bennato to Renato Zero and Vasco Rossi. Thanks to the performance of Sebastiano, Stefano, Federico and Pasquale, many parents let themselves be carried away by the rhythm and went wild on the track. We in the Stivaletto team certainly did!
Fun for All Ages
Even for the children there was non shortage of magic , starting with Vera's readings aloud, which opened the party and enchanted the little ones with stories, adventures and imagination.
At the kids swap market Cecilia, Marten and Sofia coordinated an exchange of second-hand games that was more intense than ever. In this way, not only have the Stivaletto children found a new treasure, but many others will also be able to receive an unexpected gift this year.
At the creativity table Roberta and Valeria saw no pauses: together with them the production of decorations and drawings continued unabated and made Christmas even more sparkling.
In the meantime, the 10+ boardgames table coordinated by Raffaele has become a real meeting point, offering exciting challenges until the last minute. We will remember that infinite tower of cards for a long time!
And then a special thanks also to Benedetta, Daniele, Federica, Gigi, Giulia, Jenni, Michela, Michele, Pamela, Paolo, Samuele and Sara. Among them there are those who organized the buffet, those who organized the drinks, those who took the photos and those who kept the reins of everything, making every 'thing to do' an opportunity to be together in joy.
Thanks to the Friends of Vico Food Box
Another unforgettable moment was certainly the tombola. For us it is an unmissable event and this year too it has contributed to making the Christmas celebration special, awakening in everyone, at the same time, delicate memories of the past and the wildest competition! The challenge was exciting, with parents and children very focused on winning the sweet tooth Vico Box as a reward.
For this reason we want to express our sincere gratitude to this beautiful company and its team. With their products and their friendliness they helped us bring the authentic flavors of Italian Christmas to our celebration here in the Netherlands, strengthening the bond that unites us with Italy. It is a pleasure to work together with those who, like us, believe in the value of cultural connections and share love for Italian culture in all its thousands – very tasty – traditions.
To crown the party – and console those who had not won – in fact we prepared trays loaded with panettone and pandoro from Vico Food Box. The scent of the sweets, the smiles of the people and the icing sugar everywhere have left a perfect image in our memories conviviality and sharing.
Ready for Carnival Party!
In this celebration we fully recognized the our values – Community, Family, Italianness, Cultural Exchange – and the pleasure of sharing them with you.
This is why we can't wait to see you all again at our Carnival Party on Sunday 2 March!
